A Read-Only Grid can only display static data. Dynamics 365 data occasionally needs to be visualised in ways other than just columns, so this is important.
Your custom records or customizations may, in the majority of cases, have Start End Dates, which are best seen visually. Calendar Control enters the picture here.
In Dynamics 365, you typically visualize your data as shown below.
As you can see, the data is similar to that of any other entity you could create.
Here’s how to enable the Calendar Control to convert the current View into a Calendar Control.
2. Then, look for Calendar Control and Add it.

You must set it back to Read-Only because the default has been changed to the Calendar View.
