Introduction:

In this blog we will see how to create custom api and its request parameters, response properties in power apps.

Custom Api in PowerApps:

Custom process actions can be implemented with custom APIs. Although there are some restrictions for developers, custom process actions offer a no-code option to insert custom messages. Custom APIs give developers the ability to describe their logic in code with additional flexibility.

Create a custom Api in PowerApps:

1.  Login to “make.powerapps.com” .

2. Navigate to solutions  and select your solution.

3.In your solution, click New > More > Other > Custom API from the drop-down.

To configure the Custom API’s properties, edit the fields. The following fields require that you enter values.

If the plug-in has not yet been built, you cannot set settings for Plug-in Type.Later, you can modify this.

Press Save.

Custom Api Request Parameter :

Parameters are not necessary for a custom API. As many arguments as you require can be created to pass the data required by your logic.

After creating custom api then Click New > More > Other > Custom API Request Parameter from the drop-down menu in your solution.

Give the details as your requriment.

Custom Api Response Properties:

Response attributes are not necessary for a customised API that describes an action. There must be at least one for a Function. The operation will return a success answer if it is successful.

Give the details as your requirement.
