Text Editor:
You might see this behavior of not having the Rich Text Editor in the Notes’s under the Timeline
If you want to enable Rich Text Editor in the Timeline’s notes then follow the below steps.
Step 1
Login to Maker Portal with valid credentials.
Step 2
Choose your required Environment->Settings Icon->Advance settings
Click on Administration->System Settings
Click on the Checkbox “Use rich text to make it easier to format notes created in Timeline.” under Enable rich text notes in Timeline in the General Tab.
open any record which has the Timeline in it to see the rich text editor experience in the Notes.
Disable Rich Text Editor in the Timeline
If you do not need this Rich Text Editor in the Note’s Timeline,
Make sure “Use rich text to make it easier to format notes created in Timeline.” is not checked and click on OK
Now, you can see the Notes without Rich Text editor in the Timeline.
Note: Turning off rich text notes in timeline will affect all existing rich text notes. These notes will contain HTML tags and will require manual cleanup.
