In this blog, we will learn how to populate a lookup based on option set using power automate
Recently i got a requirement with deprecating option set field by replacing with a lookup but it have 5000+ existing records available. so, i have created this flow to populate lookup based on the selected option.
i have created one optionset and lookup, we need to populate the option selected in counter and populate it in counter lookup field
Step 1: Create an instant cloud flow and take manually trigger a flow
Next take list rows and also take the optionset not equal to null like below image
next take the switch in apply to each and give the option set value in each switch and add update a row
In the update a row paste the guid of the record related to the option set label
Next save and test the flow and next save and test the flow.
